There I was doing an internet search for Reiki near me. I have to say I did chuckle a bit while I was doing it too. Because the truth is, I am a Master Reiki Practitioner Teacher, yet I was searching for what I actually offer. Not because of the search itself, but the need to find “my” energy person to work on me!

I have been serving others and have met so many amazing people and mentors through my training of this beautiful healing energy path. So certainly there are any many energy healers and people who offer Reiki near me to choose from. I do self-healing and meditation daily, I recommend that everyone does the same to be healthy and balanced. But I was looking for someone that I could go to and just be and let go. A place where I could just let this beautiful healing energy do its thing on me without the history of who I was and who I am. We all could use this beautiful, healing energy in our lives. For those who need an explanation, Reiki is a form of alternative therapy that originated in Japan. It is based on the idea of facilitating the harmonious flow of the vital energy, called “ki”. With the intention to remove all energetic blockades in individual’s body. It involves the practitioner placing their hands lightly on or just above the recipient’s body to facilitate the flow of “life force energy” to promote healing, stress reduction, peace and relaxation.

If you’re interested in booking a session, here are a few tips to find the right fit for you:

  • Research: Do a search for Reiki near me to find a local practitioner within your area. Learn more about Reiki to understand what it entails and how it may benefit you and your lifestyle.
