Can your body really become immune to a diet?  More research is showing that you should stay away from FAD DIETS! The reason: your body can become immune and actually have the opposite effect!

It is actually a “chronic” calorie restriction to your body which makes your body produce more of the hunger hormone ghrelin and less of the hormone leptin which makes you feel full.

In addition, you tend to lose more muscle mass which helps boosts your metabolism and without muscle you cannot crush those calories.

Sorry but those diets that may have worked in the past are just that…. a thing of the past! Avoid these trendy attempts and just eat right, by eating lower calorie, high nutrient foods, always “portion control” and PLEASE keep strength training in your fitness routines!
